Ed Sheeran performed amid the eager crowd of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospice Gala at the Natural History Museum in London, Wednesday night.
The singer-songwriter, who has taken a time off from doing concerts, told before his 45-minute acoustic set, “This is the first time when I’ve done a show in a year, so please bear with me… It’s nice to be back.”
Sheeran’s stint included a cover of the Justin Bieber-hit “Love Yourself” which he co-wrote. The track is one of the least EDM-inclined off Biber’s Purpose album.
“I’ll probably never play it again, however I just need to play it once,” he quipped.
