2018 World Class Philippines Awards Recognizes Wish 107.5 as One of PH’s Best Companies

Now nearing its fourth year in the industry, all-hits radio station Wish 107.5 is one of the recipients of the “World Class Philippine Company” awards at this year’s World Class Philippines Awards (WCPA) held on June 16, Saturday, at the City of Dreams Manila in Parañaque City.

The award-giving body recognizes the “achievements of organizations and individuals in their journey towards world-class excellence.”

DJ Ray Holiday of the Wish radio program the “Morning Wish” and DJ Alice of both the “Wonderland” and “The Roadshow” received the award on behalf of Wish 107.5.

The World Class Philippines Awards named Wish 107.5 as a "World Class Philippine Company" for the station's "success and achievements in the field of FM radio broadcasting and media production."

Going Global

Since its inception in August 2014, Wish 107.5 has been unwavering in its commitment to enliven the music industry by introducing new platforms where people can enjoy and experience the universally-loved art form.

In the last two years, the station has increased its presence online to take Filipino music across the globe. Its YouTube channel, with over 2.8 million subscribers as of writing, is a treasure trove of performances staged aboard the Wish 107.5 Bus.

Known as “Wishclusives,” this series of high-definition videos showcases the world-class artistry of Filipino musicians -- whether they are established or emerging acts.

“Wish 107.5 has broken barriers. People not only in the Philippines can appreciate the talent of their artists; people around the globe can watch it as well,” New Zealand-based YouTuber Nischal Gurung said as he lauded the station’s advocacy to introduce Filipino music and artists to a global audience.

Wish 107.5 innovator Kuya Daniel Razon shares his plans for the station to go global during the 3rd Wish Music Awards held on January 15 at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

The Wish Bus and the Wishclusives are the innovations of industry luminary Kuya Daniel Razon, who serves as the CEO and President of BMPI. BMPI, which means Breakthrough and Milestones Productions International, provides content for Wish 107.5.

Back in December 2017, Razon revealed that the company is eyeing to unveil a Wish Bus counterpart in Hollywood, USA this year.

“What we really wanted to do is to multiply the Wish 107.5 Bus so we can showcase our Filipino artists all over the globe. We want the Wish 107.5 Bus to become a pride of the Philippines -- capable of bringing Filipino talents to the world, not just here in the country,” he said.

The seasoned media personality also earned a nod from the WCPA in 2017. He received the “World Class Filipino Achiever” award for his pioneering works in public service and broadcasting -- both on TV and the radio.
