Now on its 30th, Fête De La Musique PH Kicks Off at Greenbelt Main Stage

Celebrating music for over 30 years, Fête de la Musique Philippines jumpstarted its grandest musical revelry yet at the Greenbelt Main Stage in Makati City on Friday, June 21, 2024. Despite the non-stop downpour, music enthusiasts and concert-goers flocked to and filled the Fête Philippines main stage area.

This year’s edition of Fête de la Musique (also known as World Music Day) showcased a diverse lineup of up-and-coming and established Filipino artists, including SHANNi, Jason Dhakal (whose set also featured Lustbass), SinoSikat, Jose Miguel, Dwta, Jewelmer Jazz Band, Any Name’s Okay, Morobeats, Autotelic, and Dilaw.

French electronic music duo Pfel and Greem from C2C also performed on the main stage, serving as the biggest French act to have ever graced the Fête PH stage.

“I’m super happy to be with you today. Indeed, [it’s] a very beautiful day for us… In France — every summer, every 21st of June — we celebrate the Fête de la Musique. And it’s a special occasion,” Deputy Chief of Mission of the French Embassy to the Philippines Rémy Tirouttouvarayane said.

“Music, culture, and also the pleasure of being together to enjoy a good moment… that’s exactly what I wish for all of us tonight,” Tirouttouvarayane added.
