A Sweet Ride and Jam with OPM Pop Sweetheart Janella Salvador

August, the anniversary month of Wish 1075, kicked off with a sweet start as OPM Pop Sweetheart Janella Salvador rendered soothing performances during her Roadshow gig.

Promoting her self-titled debut album she rode the one and only FM-on-wheels, Wish 1075 Bus on August 5 and toured the roads surrounding Manila Central University in Caloocan.

The break-out star’s live mini-concert drew an impressive crowd that wasted no time in documenting the whole thing with their smart phones while Janella performed her debut album’s carrier single, “Ganyan Talaga.”

Her fans online are all abuzz with excited greetings and well wishes.

“She is so pretty and she has a nice voice. More power Wish 1075,” Darwin Tolentino, a Facebook user, posted.

Janella first entered the entertainment industry as a teen actress. Her musical genes can be traced from singer-actress Jenine Desiderio and singer-songwriter Juan Miguel Salvador.

Despite her musical pedigree, Janella wishes to shine on her own merits. This is why she is very much thankful she was given this opportunity to prove that she has more than just a pretty face and good background.

“I can’t believe I already have my own album. I used to wish I would release one in the future, but I didn’t expect it to happen so soon, so I’m very happy,” the OPM darling gushed.

Her debut album, released under Star Music, includes nine pop and inspirational songs. Apart from the carrier single penned by inspirational diva Jamie Rivera, her fans will also hear her own versions of Sharon Cuneta’s “Dear Heart” and Donna Cruz’s “I Can.”

This blog post has completely changed my perspective on music. It's a must-read for any music lover.
