After 5 Take a Road Tour via Wish 107.5 Bus

Best of both worlds. After 5 is a five-member band of young professionals who share the same passion — music.

Up-and-coming band After 5 shared with Wish1075’s avid fans their kind of jam as they took a road trip-cum-mini live concert via the station’s FM radio mobile booth.

The five-member band crooned the growing crowd of passers-by and the rest of Wish1075 listeners with a few cuts such as “Gusto Na Rin Kita” and “Terminal” from their debut album, “OPM After 5 PM.”

The album features 10 all-original, easy listening OPM-pop rock tracks that tell stories about love with the classic Pinoy romantic touch. The band describes their music as “sweet rock."

After 5 is composed of five young professionals whose common denominator is their passion for music. Usually, they meet and rehearse after work, which is at 5 pm hence the name’s band.

Quoting music journalist Yugel Losorata’s words, one of the band’s goals is to encourage their fellow professionals to still go after their craft beyond doing their jobs in the corporate world.

Losorata, who also joined the band during the Roadshow guesting, described the After 5’s experience as “exceeding expectations”. From the warm welcome to the modern music equipment, the bus’ innovative vibe has helped the band give an all-out, LSS-worthy performance.

The band was founded in 2011 at a private studio in Candaba, Pampanga. They launched their album December of last year.

After 5 is composed of sisters Cheenee and Chin Daria on vocals, Nino Sto. Niño on guitar, Alex Tecson on bass, and Jonil Bautista on drums. Chin also plays the acoustic guitar. Nino serves as the band’s chief composer, Alex the road manager and Jonil the executive producer.
