Alex Gonzaga Promotes Debut Album on The Roadshow

Actress-host Alex Gonzaga showcased her musical talent when she promoted her debut album “I am Alex G” on The Roadshow with Wish jocks Eco and Trixie on March 31.

Alex shared interesting facts about each track as well as the experience of recording her first album. The recording process enabled her to be more familiar with her voice and helped her to grow as a singer.

The album under Star Music Records contains six easy listening songs which includes a composition Alex co-penned with her sister, Toni Gonzaga. The song is dedicated to women who are caught in a perennial cycle of bad relationships.

Other songs from her album include “Goodbye Kiss” and “Boyfriend," a song she inspired by her personal experiences and heartbreaks. On dealing with unrequited love, which is the central theme of some of her singles, Alex gave her counsel, “It’s time to move on.”

On the Roadshow, Alex entertained the radio listeners and the crowd outside the Wish 1075 bus with a live performance of her carrier single, “Panaginip Lang."

Aside from her newly released album Alex also recently launched her bestselling book entitled “Dear Alex, Break na Kami. Paano? Love, Catherine.”

This blog post has completely changed my perspective on music. It's a must-read for any music lover.
