Callalily Shares 10 Years of Music with Wishers

OPM band Callalily joined Wish 107.5’s Roadshow program on November 20 to share their 10th anniversary album, Greetings from Callalily.

The album, released under Universal Records in October, contains 10 new tracks which according to vocalist Kean Cipriano give “a different perspective” to the band’s brand of music.

Nonetheless, he assured that the “Callalistas” can still enjoy a touch of the old sound that captured the hearts of their solid fans a decade ago.

Kean also asked for the support of OPM lovers as the band continues to grow and explore different kinds of music.

During their Roadshow stint, the band offered Wishers three acoustic sets of their new songs including their latest single, Bitter Song.

Asked about the chance to perform on the Wish 107.5 Bus, Kean exclaimed that it was a refreshing experience. The FM-on-wheels has continuously gained attention since its launch in August 2014 as it helped bring music, especially OPM, closer to the public.

Callalily popularized the hits Magbalik, Take My Hand and Stars. The group has released five albums and has won numerous awards including the Box-Office Entertainment Awards’ Most Promising Recording Group in 2008 and Most Popular Recording/Performing Group in 2014.

This blog post has completely changed my perspective on music. It's a must-read for any music lover.
