Charice Marks Recording Comeback with Self-Penned Song

Three years after releasing her album “Chapter 10” under Star Music, international singing sensation Charice wears her happy heart on her sleeve with “Epitome of Beauty,” a song she wrote herself.

While the song is deeply personal, she said that “people who are in love and are willing to fall in love” can relate to it.

“I wrote this song for the love of my life, but this song is for everyone. Lahat naman tayo, when we’re in love, no matter who they are, we see them as the ‘epitome of beauty,’” she shared.

The track, she said, also refers not only to physical beauty, but also “more specifically to the beauty inside.”

“When you get to know a person intimately, that’s when you can define how beautiful they are. This song is for everyone who has found their ‘epitome of beauty.’ Because for me, I’ve already found mine,” said Charice.

The song is part of her soon-to-be-released album, for which she wrote all the songs.

“I feel inspired seeing and meeting different people every day, hearing different stories. They make me feel alive and inspired to create music. Especially that I get to travel a lot, it’s easier for me to write songs,” she said.

“Epitome of Beauty” can now be streamed on Spotify. The digital track can also be downloaded on August 12 via online music stores such as ABS-CBN Store, iTunes, Mymusicstore.com.ph, Amazon.com, OneMusic.ph, and Starmusic.ph.
