COMPLETE LIST: 10th Wish Music Awards Winners

Wish 107.5 held its 10th Wish Music Awards at the Araneta Coliseum on Sunday, January 19, 2025. Serving as the WMAs’ biggest edition yet, OPM stars and fans witnessed a momentous celebration of music and charity. 

Apart from the major award winners, the 10th WMAs honored two new KDR Icons, in recognition of their contributions to the industry.

Ogie Alcasid, one of the country’s premier OPM hitmakers, was named as this year’s KDR Icon of Musical Excellence. Meanwhile, apl.de.ap, a member of the Grammy-winning group Black Eyed Peas and founder of Apl.de.Ap Foundation International, was recognized as the KDR Icon of Music and Philanthropy. APLFI helps nurture young creatives and is committed to giving back to communities and children.

10th Wish Music Awards winners 

The Nation’s Girl Group BINI won big at the 10th Wish Music Awards, bagging three awards: Wish Group of the Year, Wishclusive Pop Performance of the Year (“Karera”), and Wish Pop Song of the Year (“Pantropiko”).

Pop-rock royalty Yeng Constantino took home the Wishclusive Contemporary R&B Performance of the Year award with her refreshing Wish Bus rendition of “BABALA.”

OPM band Dilaw also emerged victorious after winning the Wishclusive Rock/Alternative Performance of the Year award for “Orasa.”

P-pop giant SB19 dominated the Wishclusive Ballad Performance of the Year and Wish Song Collaboration of the Year categories with their Wish Bus rendition of “Ilaw” and their hit song, “KALAKAL” with Gloc-9, respectively. 

SB19 members also shone as soloists. Stell won the Wish Ballad Song of the Year (“Di Ko Masabi”) and Wish Breakthrough Artist of the Year awards. FELIP, on the other hand, took home the trophy Wish Rock/Alternative Song of the Year (“Kanako”). Meanwhile, Josh Cullen got the Wish Hip-hop Song of the Year (“GET RIGHT”). PABLO received one of the night’s highest awards: Wish Artist of the Year.

Stell bagged this year’s Wishers’ Choice award after garnering the most number of votes across all nominations.

Justin had his own moment when he and labelmate dwta capped of the night on a magical note. They graced the WMA stage with the yet-to-be-released song, “sampung mga daliri.”

The winners of the major awards took home a WMA trophy and a cash prize of Php25,000, while their chosen charitable organizations received Php100,000.

Top-notch OPM acts grace the WMA stage

An unforgettable night deserves unexceptional musical performances.

Sending everyone’s heart aflutter, singer-songwriter Maki opened the night with his chart-topping kilig track, “Dilaw.” Meanwhile, versatile act Dionela and the Philippines’ R&B King Jay R hit an emotional spot with their viral collab, “sining.”

Back-to-back on-stage performances were served by singer-songwriters Rob Deniel and Moira Dela Torre. Rob serenaded the crowd with “Miss, Miss,” while Moira sang her heart out to her latest musical offering, “I’m Okay.” Paying tribute to Ogie Alcasid’s music, Rob returned to WMA stage for a medley of “Ikaw Sana” and “Nandito Ako.”

Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, a previous KDR Icon of Musical Excellence awardee, made her debut WMA performance with her rendition of South Border’s “Wherever You Are.” To the crowd’s delight, TONEEJAY brought his WMA-nominated song, “711,” to the stage.

As another musical treat, the 10th WMAs hosted the performances of real-life musical couple TJ Monterde and Soul Supreme KZ Tandingan. They performed “Palagi” and “Toyo,” respectively.

In a special segment by Spotify, hip-hop star Hev Abi and Spotify KALYE Artist of the Year pumped up the night with a medley of his originals, “Magpasayelo,” “Antagonista,” and “Para Sa Streets.”

The awards show ended on a high note with G22’s “Limitless” and the aforementioned justin-dwta collab.

A decade-long celebration of music and charity

Kuya Daniel Razon, the man behind Wish 107.5, shared an inspiring message during the awards night.

“Talaga naman pong nakabilis ng panahon. It’s been 10 years since we’ve held the first Wish Music Awards in this very same venue. So many things have changed. And we’ve seen many talented artists emerge. We’ve heard many wonderful songs throughout the years.”

He also thanked the WMA nominees for being an inspiration to all, ackowleding their artistry, dedication, and passion.

“Sa gabing ito, let us celebrate you. Tonight, we’re paying tribute to and honoring your artistry, your dedication, and your passion — all of which continue to inspire us all.”

“We at Wish consider ourselves blessed because we were given the opportunity to help share your music with the world. Be it through the radio, through the Wish Bus, or through our digital platforms, we’ve witnessed how your music transcends borders and touches hearts,” he added.

Apart from recounting the past decade of the WMAs, he also noted that Wish 107.5 will continue to uphold its commitment to being a platform where both music and charity are celebrated. 

“This is only our first decade. We look forward to celebrating music and charity with you for the years to come,” he enthused.
