DJ Robin Nievera Releases New Album ‘Dare’

DJ Robin Nievera, who helms Wish 107.5’s early evening program “Roadshow,” released his third album, “Dare,” coinciding with his birthday on November 30 at The Brewery in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

Launched under the independent record label Homeworkz founded by Jay R, the album is composed of eight tracks, all written and arranged by Robin himself. It includes the carrier single, “No More Light.”

According to Robin, “Dare” is actually an album dedicated to struggling artists. With this record, he dares these musicians to let their voices and sound be heard.

The music royalty (he is the firstborn of Concert King and Queen Martin Nievera and Pops Fernandez) has previously released two albums — “Overwait” and “Nightmares.” As an adamant supporter of OPM, the unveiling of his third effort showcases his continued effort in making more homegrown music.

On the same day, Wish 107.5 staged a special Roadshow episode featuring Robin, his parents and his younger brother, Ram. The four delighted listeners with an impromptu WISHclusive performance of “When You Say Nothing At All.”
