Ebe Dancel Unplugged on the Roadshow

Multi-awarded singer-songwriter Ebe Dancel graced the Roadshow program and staged a heart-stirring acoustic jamming session on board the Wish 107.5 bus, the first-ever FM-on-wheels in the country, on November 5, 2015.

Ebe, who rose to fame as the front man of the popular OPM band Sugarfree, crooned the crowd with his performance of his latest single, “Bawat Daan,” which is part of his new album of the same name under Star Music.

According to him, his upcoming album compiles his journey in the music industry for the past 15 years. He said that it is a collection of songs that tells where he had been; where he is right now and where he is going.

The “Bawat Daan” album is comprised of three chapters — his new songs; his works that were adapted as movie soundtracks, and his recordings of classic Sugarfree hits. It also features songs he recorded with Yeng Constantino and KZ Tandingan.

During his Roadshow performance at Robinsons Novaliches where the bus was parked, he entertained listeners and the crowd with live renditions of “Wag Ka Nang Umiyak” and “Hanggang Wala Nang Bukas,” the theme song of the critically-acclaimed “Heneral Luna” film.

Back in 2011, Ebe launched his first album as a solo artist entitled, “Dalawang Mukha ng Pag-ibig.” Since then, he continues to help keep the local music scene alive with his poetic songwriting and remarkable collaborations with some of the OPM’s finest as well as emerging names.

As the frontman of Sugarfree, Ebe popularized the hits “Hari ng Sablay,” “Makita Kang Muli,” “Dear Kuya,” and “Tulog Na.”
