Ez Mil Scores First Billboard Hit with Latest Track ‘Realest,’ Featuring Eminem

The buzz of Pinoy pride is once again on “Panalo” hitmaker Ez Mil.

Fresh off the announcement of his signing with rap icons Eminem and Dr. Dre’s recording labels on July 27, the Filipino-American rapper released his brand-new hip-hop track “Realest,” featuring American singer-songwriter-producer Eminem, on August 4, 2023.

Breakthrough artist Ez Mil is once again making buzz after getting signed with rap icons Eminem and Dr. Dre’s record labels.

Just a week after its release, “Realest” made it to the Billboard charts, ascending to no. 3 on the Rap Digital Song Sales and R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales charts. The track also secured the no. 10 spot on the all-genre Digital Song Sales chart with 4,000 downloads sold during its debut week.

The 25-year-old rapper also made it to the 16th spot on Billboard’s Emerging Artists list.

“Realest” is Mil’s debut single under the three huge music labels:  Shady Records, Aftermath Entertainment, and Interscope Records.

Beyond the numbers and rankings, Mil’s journey embodies his passion for his musicality and Filipino roots.

“I’ve always been proud to represent my hometown, my roots. I just wanted them to be happy and proud,” Ez said according to a press release.

Meanwhile, Mil’s latest album “DU4LI7Y: REDUX” is now out. The album is his final release with Virgin Music.

Ez Mil’s breakthrough moment came in 2021, following the performance of his original song “Panalo” on the Wish USA Bus. As of writing, the video now has more than 79 million views since its debut on YouTube.
