Gloc-9 Returns to Roadshow with New Album 'Sukli'

Pinoy rap icon Gloc-9 returned to the Roadshow Monday, May 23, with his latest studio album, “Sukli," which marks his comeback to Star Music after ten years.

“It’s like being somewhere really familiar, there was no pressure,” the rapper said, further sharing that he is always happy to work with people he knows well.

For his newest project, the rapper collaborated with some of today’s finest artists including KZ Tandingan, Monty Macalino of Mayonnaise and former Stonefree frontman Miro Valera.

Gloc-9, who served as the album’s over-all producer, also worked with professional musicians to help him make his latest musical offering stand out from his previous recordings.

On his second time on the Wish 107.5 Bus, Gloc-9 performed his newest single, “Hoy,” which according to him was composed in just three hours while he was on his way to recording “Sukli.”

He also rendered a WISHclusive performance of “Hari ng Tondo.” A personal favorite, the song is part of the original soundtrack of the film, “Manila Kingpin” The Asiong Salonga Story.”

The Awit award-winning rapper first boarded the bus in December 2014.
