Grammy-winning Artist Dan Hill Shares Advice for Upcoming Singers

“If you want to be a singer, the thing that you have to do is sing all the time,” internationally-acclaimed music icon Dan Hill enthused as an advice to aspiring singers.

Hill, who sealed his stardom with signature hits such as “Sometimes When We Touch,” “Never Thought” and “Can’t We Try,” further added that it also helps a lot if one “could write songs or learn to play an instrument.”

The Grammy-winning singer/songwriter was on the Wish 107.5 Bus on February 13 with fellow international act J Michaels to promote “Love Rocks!,” the show they are co-headlining tonight at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Manila.

Asked about his experience on board the Wish 107.5 Bus, the Canadian artist shared that he was delighted with idea of the innovative mobile FM radio booth.

“I like the concept…I enjoyed the interview when the bus was moving.”

Manila-born J Michaels, who front the widely-recognized J Michaels Band (“Wildflower,” “Feels So Right”), also echoed the same sentiment.

“It was a lot of fun. I was kind of surprised, I don’t know exactly what to expect…This is a great thing.”

During their Roadshow guesting, Hill treated listeners to an acoustic rendition of “Sometimes When We Touch” while J Michaels slayed his live performance of “Feels So Right.”
