Jamie Rivera, Latest OPM Icon to Set Foot on Wish 107.5 Bus

Jamie Rivera brought her greatest hits to Wish 107.5 as she hopped on the station’s famed FM-on-wheels last January 27, Friday, for a WISHclusive chat with DJ Robin Nievera.

The Inspirational Diva is the latest OPM luminary to set foot on the roving music hub. “[I’m] happy that I’m finally here! It’s a pleasure being on Wish 107.5,” an enthusiastic Jamie exclaimed.

For her Roadshow set, the OPM icon sang her smash singles “I’ve Fallen For You”, “Mahal Naman Kita (Pangarap Ka Na Lang Ba)”, and “Hey It’s Me.”

Though popularly known for uplifting the praise music genre to the local mainstream scene with songs such as “Tell the World of His Love” and “Heal Our Land,” she is also associated with heartwarming pop ballads and musical theater pieces.

Jamie, who is celebrating her 30th anniversary in the industry, previously shared that she wishes to revisit her pop roots and tap her songwriting skills to create more original materials for budding singers.

She is currently promoting her upcoming show on February 13. She will be staging a dinner concert entitled “All About Love” at the Sofitel Grand Ballroom at 7 p.m. with guests Robert Seña and Frenchie Dy. The proceeds of the event will be donated to Braveheart Kids Foundation.

During the show’s press conference, she revealed that the concert will feature “broadway songs, songs from the ’80’s — standard, pop and inspirational.” If requested, she will also be singing a couple of inspirational songs.

Recently, she took part in the 2017 National Bible Week Celebration, which was held at the Narciso Ramos Sports Complex, Lingayen on the 28th of January.
