Jed Madela Shares His 'Heart and Soul' with Latest Album 'Iconic'
Jed Madela, one of today’s most talented OPM icons, graced one of the Roadshow episodes earlier in May to promote his recently launched album, “Iconic,” which he said contains his “heart and soul.”
The world singing champion happily joined wish jock Jellykiss on a Monday afternoon offering a sneak peek of the album to fans and wishers as the Wish1075 Bus rolled along Ortigas Avenue.
“Iconic” is a 14-track album featuring Jed’s own versions of iconic songs from equally iconic artists of the international music industry such as Madonna, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, and Celine Dion.
Jed performed “Didn’t We Almost Have It All," “Don’t Wanna Lose You Now,” and “You Mean The World To Me” during his guesting.
The OPM star guaranteed that everybody will be able to relate to the album because it is packed with songs of love and other beautiful things.
Jed is also particularly proud of his original composition called “Welcome To My World," an EDM (Electronic Dance Music)-laced track that ties up all the songs and the essence of the album.
“Iconic” reflects how his career continues to bloom with his versatile vocal prowess.
“Sobrang proud ako sa album na’to. I’ve been through ups and downs just to finish this album,” Jed enthused.
(I am very proud of this album. I’ve been through ups and downs just to finish this album.)
Jed is the first Filipino to win the grand champion title of the prestigious World Championship of Performing Arts (WCOPA) in 2005.
