Jhennilyn Puod: Celebrating a Mother’s Love

Jhennilyn Puod from Roxas, Isabela earnestly wished to make her daughter’s birthday a special one. But this loving mother never imagined that her aspiration would be realized the way it did

A lucky try

A few days before her daughter Princess’s fourth birthday, Jhennilyn was looking through her news feed and came across a fan page which grabbed her attention—“Anong Wish Mo?” (What’s Your Wish).

She sure had wishes of her own but above them was her desire to see her little Princess happy.

Curious,  the hopeful mother posted her sincere wish on the online wishing wall: “Wish ko sana na maipaghanda ang anak kong babae sa birthday niya ngayong August.”

(“I wish that I could give my daughter a party for her birthday celebration this August.”)

It was a fortunate try for Jhennilyn because she was one of the lucky wishers whose wishes were granted by Wish 107.5.

A birthday celebration for Jhennilyn’s princess

Together with her family and friends, Princess enjoyed the birthday party package. Puod’s quiet residence was suddenly filled with joyful noises as children participated in fun games and enjoyed the sumptuous meals prepared for them.

The celebration was indeed memorable. At that moment, nothing could compare to Jhennilyn’s delight seeing her wish for her child fulfilled.

Given the chance to make a wish again, Jhennilyn would like to dedicate it to the station: “Sa Wish, sana mas marami pa kayong matulungan, mas marami pang wish ang matupad at mas marami pang mapasaya.”

(“To Wish, I wish you would be able to help more people, grant more wishes, and make more people happy.”)
