Jireh Lim’s Sentimental Journey Through Music

Jireh Lim boarded the Wish107.5 Bus recently and serenaded the listeners with his hit song, “Buko,” a shortened version of “Buhay Ko,” an original composition inspired by his grandparents’ love story.

The 25-year-old singer also promoted his latest single, “Pananagutan,” and his version of Stephen Speaks’ “Out of my League.”

In a WISHclusive interview, the acoustic sensation recounted one vivid memory of the early years of his professional musical career.

“From the US, I migrated to the Philippines because of music. I had a concert in Lucena City, and people were singing my songs. Even though it was just new then, but they already knew it, that’s why I felt very happy,” he said.

Jireh also shared one weird experience as an artist, “I had a huge crush on one musician. I was fond of looking at her almost every day. I knew she was aware of it but she did not pay me any attention, it was weird.”

When asked about the artists he wishes to have collaboration with, he mentioned Yeng Constantino and Gloc-9 among others.

He also sent his warm regards to his avid fans saying, “Thank you so much for all the effort and time you dedicated for me. Hope you will continue supporting me.”

This blog post has completely changed my perspective on music. It's a must-read for any music lover.
