Joey Navarro: Brand New PE Uniform and Shoes for his Daughter

More and more wishes are granted as Wish 1075’s first anniversary nears.

Joey Navarro, a 38-year-old wisher from Quezon City, was one of the fortunate Wish 1075 fans whose humble yearnings were recently fulfilled by the station.

Despite working hard as a caretaker of a subdivision, Joey’s earnings do not suffice to meet all of his family’s needs. For this school year, he would like to buy his daughter a PE uniform and rubber shoes but could not afford it. So when he learned about Wish 1075’s wish granting service, he was encouraged to voice out his simple wish.

Last June, Joey was chosen as the lucky listener whose wish will be granted. His daughter can now enjoyably and comfortably participate in their PE class with her new uniform from Wish 1075.

Joey in turn expressed his wishes for the station.

“Wish ko lang sana more power sa Wish FM. Sana marami pa kayong matulungan mga katulad ko na hirap din sa buhay. Sana mag-ibayo pa rin yung istasyon, lumawak pa.”

(I wish more power to Wish FM. I wish that you would be able to help more less fortunate people like me. I also hope that the station will expand.”)
