Joseph Thyrone Dy: Making Kids Merry with New School Supplies

As a new academic year opens, some lucky students will enjoy learning with their brand new set of school supplies they received from Wish 1075 as part of its wish granting campaign.

A few months shy of its first anniversary, Wish 1075 fulfilled this personal request of a wisher from Las Pinas City for his kids, nieces and nephews.

Joseph Thyrone Dy, a warehouseman for a publishing house, regularly listens to Wish 1075 at work together with his co-employees. He is a fan of the station’s advocacy of helping people fulfill their simple wishes.

He saw the wish-granting mission of the station as an opportunity for him to ask assistance for the back-to-school needs of his children and other relatives he is living with.

Upon learning that his wish was chosen, he excitedly informed his wife about it. Joseph shared how he feels about the station’s prompt action with the requests of its listeners.

“As a wisher, it feels good that what you wish for is immediately granted,” he said in Filipino.

Thankful Joseph has a message to the FM station that made his wish come true:

“Sana patuloy pa rin silang ganun yung gawin nilang advocacy na tumulong sa mga kapos, mga nangangailangan din.”

(I wish that they continue their advocacy to help the less fortunate and needy.)
