Juris Celebrates 10 Years as a Solo Artist with ‘Here’s My Heart’ Album and Upcoming Concert

Juris is celebrating her 10th year anniversary as a solo artist.

To commemorate this career milestone, the top-calibre singer has unveiled a new album under Star Music, her record label for the past decade.

“Here’s My Heart” is composed of six new songs including the titular track and the heartbreaking ballad, “Paano Kung,” which she performed during her Wish Bus guesting last March. It also comprises four OPM revivals, making the total number of her album 10 — coinciding with her 10th year in the industry since she embarked on a solo career.

Prior to carving out a name of her own, Juris was the lead vocalist of the acoustic band MYMP, which gained prominence in the mid-2000s.

In her more recent stint on the FM radio-on-wheels last month, the 41-year-old songstress — known for her crystal-clear, storytelling voice — also invited everyone to watch her upcoming 10th anniversary concert.

Aptly and simply titled “JURIS,” the show will take place on June 15, 8 p.m. PHT, at the Newport Performing Arts Theater. It will feature The Metro Music Orchestra with famed TV and film composer Francis Concio as the musical director.

Concio, together with his wife Carol, is the man behind Juris’ hits, “Dear You,” “Dahil Sa’yo,” and most recently, “Paano Kung.”

During her radio interview, Juris also shared her excitement for the show, especially because she will be sharing the spotlight with people who are also celebrating their respective career milestones.

“I’m really excited to work with The Metro Music, which is a 45-piece orchestra. The concert will mark the first time that they will be performing in a major concert as a whole,” she gushed.

“Our musical director will also commemorate his 10 years of doing musical score for movies and TV series,” she further shared.

Talking about the things the audience can expect, the OPM chanteuse noted that the setlist will boast hugot- and kilig-inducing performances, injected with mesmerizing orchestral arrangements.

For the past decade, Juris’ career has been punctuated with four studio albums, two EPs, and numerous sold-out concerts, and she has nothing but gratitude for her supporters.

“I’ve been telling everyone that I’ve been blessed to be surrounded by people who have been very supportive. I am really, really grateful for them,” she remarked in a press conference.

Tickets for “JURIS” is now available at Ticketworld. For more inquiries, visit Resort World Manila’s website.
