Kaye Cal Joins Roadshow for 'Isang Araw'

Kaye Cal, an up-and-coming singer-songwriter, recently joined the Roadshow to promote her single “Isang Araw,” from the OPM Fresh album, a compilation of the latest hits penned by young Filipino talents.

The album was released in April 2015 under Star Music.

Asked about her original composition, Kaye said that the song is very close to her heart. She wrote the “very emotional” song as an outlet for her emotions, she added.

“When you’re too happy to do something else [or] when you are sad, you just want to let [the feeling] go,” she shared.

The avid fans of Kaye also flocked in front of Robinsons Galleria in Ortigas, where the Wish1075 Bus was parked, to show to their support for the Ezra Band vocalist.

Expressing her gratitude to her followers, Kaye rendered a heartwarming performance of “IsangAraw.” Apart from this, she also sang Ezra Band’s popular 2010 hit, “Walang Iba,” and her rendition of the songs “Sweat” and “Missing You.”

Meanwhile, her fans also sent wishes of good luck on her career via social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Twitter user @teamkayecalph who posted, “#MyWishForKayeCal is a blooming career this year,” won a Wish1075 shirt personally signed by her idol.

Currently, “Isang Araw” is dominating the airwaves and is receiving warm support from fans and music lovers alike.

Her group Ezra Band was discovered on the first season of “Pilipinas Got Talent”, in 2010.
