KDR Music House Signs New Bands, Artists to Perform at Puregold Concert

KDR Music House signs new artists

KDR Music House is on a roll.

Apart from producing the latest edition of its Wish Date concert series, the record label has welcomed promising bands to its lineup of talents.

Expanding roster

Mundane, an alternative/pop-punk band, was officially signed on July 5. Drawing from a plethora of influences, their music creates a unique experience with vivid imagery and storytelling that resonates deeply with listeners.

Earlier in June, the five-piece act released their first single under the label. “Where Flowers Used To Bloom” invites listeners into a nostalgic journey through youth and passion.

“KDR Music House is definitely a record label na talagang they will give everything just to help the artist… Very, very grateful, Happy is an understatement,” the band shared in an interview with UNTV News and Rescue.

MidSummer and Kahel, who previously boarded the Wish Bus as Uncharted guests, were also among KDR Music House’s latest additions.

MidSummer is an up-and-coming band crafting songs that are a modern fusion of pop and rock. Currently, they already have two tracks released under the label. Following their debut single “Manghuhula,” they recently unveiled “Meteorite,” a song that captures the magical feeling of falling in love at the most unexpected time and place.

Meanwhile, Kahel is a sextet that was formed in March 2023. Living up to the sunny appeal of their name, the band aspires to dazzle and captivate fans through a spectrum of musical styles.

They made an impressive debut with “Diwata,” which landed on Spotify’s Fresh Finds and soared to No. 1 on Spotify’s OPM Rising upon release. “Prinsesa ng Gabi,” their newest offering, captures the magic of dusk and the unexpected encounters it brings.

Puregold concert stint

Marking another milestone, KDR Music House artists are also set to grace the concert stage.

On July 12, Friday, Kahel, Easy Belanio, and Letters from June, will serve as front acts for Puregold’s Nasa Atin Ang Panalo Thanksgiving Concert. The show, which will take place at the Araneta Coliseum, boasts a star-studded lineup featuring BINI, SB19, Flow G, and Sunkissed Lola.

Belanio previously gained attention as a contender on Idol Philippines 2022. She was also recognized as the Indie Artist of the Year at the 8th PPop Awards. Last month, the belter was in Busan for the launching of the Wish Bus South Korea, performing alongside SB19, Zack Tabudlo, HORI7ON, and Zephanie.

Meanwhile, Letters from June recently made waves with their emotional track, “Bituin.” It served as the theme song of the recent Wish Date installment.
