King of R&B Jay R Debuts “Kumusta Ka” MP3 Player Album

Three years since the release of his last album, Jay R, the Philippines’ King of R&B, is back with his new album, “Kamusta Ka.”

The R&B royalty debuted his MP3 album in a meet-and-greet as well as a free concert at the Eastwood City Walk on May 19, 2018. The concert featured Billy Crawford, Wishcovery’s very own the Wishful 5, as well as Homeworkz’s homegrown talents Mica Javier, Paolo Onesa, Beandeatha, Q-York, and Wishcovery’s resident host and Prince of R&B Kris Lawrence.

In celebration of the album launch, the singer-songwriter himself gave out free MP3 album copies and special gift packs to eight lucky winners of a creative selfie contest hosted by Wish 107.5 and Homeworkz Music. Wishers took photos of themselves featuring the event media wall and posted it on their social media accounts with the hashtag #KamustaKaJayRAlbumLaunch.

The “Kamusta Ka” MP3 album is an all-in-one package that includes all originally-penned songs by Jay R himself. It has 2GB of memory capacity that stores all of his music videos, album photos, and his latest single “Kamusta Ka.” In addition, the package comes with free earphones, stickers, a Jay R poster, and a USB cord – available for PHP 499.

In an interview with DJ Kim of the Wish List, the singer-songwriter remarked that “Kumusta Ka” is one of his favorite singles. “It is a remix of ‘Bakit Pa Ba’ and this emotionally-charged track is a heartbreaking one,” shared Jay R.
