Marcelito Pomoy’s Wishclusive Performance of ‘The Prayer’ Gets Featured on 9gag

Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2 grand champ Marcelito Pomoy’s two-voice rendition of “The Prayer," rendered live on the Wish 107.5 Bus, got featured on the popular entertainment site, 9gag.com.

9gag.com, a California-based website known for their viral memes, GIFs and videos, posted the performance on their website on January 15, 2017. “His angelic voice is touching my heart, how can he manage to have both feminine and masculine voices?,” the caption stated.

The WISHclusive, which has already garnered 1.4 million YouTube hits as of writing, shows Marcelito’s unique ability of singing with his tenor and soprano voices.

Prior to the 9gag feature, the video has previously earned several reaction videos lauding his talent.

Meanwhile, Marcelito said he is thankful for all the support of his fans and for the unexpected featured on the website.

Apart from his “The Prayer” cover, another WISHclusive performance — Darren Espanto’s “Chandelier” — was also picked up by the same website back in 2015.
