Mayonnaise Releases New Single ‘Hopeless’

“Melancholic yet happy” are the words that best describe Mayonnaise’s brand new single, “Hopeless.”

The prominent OPM band boarded the Wish 107.5 Bus last October 28 to promote their latest album, “For The Rest of My Life,” where their fans can hear more of their new materials.

Released under Warner Music Philippines, the band’s sixth studio album is composed of 10 tracks that are far from the “usual Mayonnaise sound” that sings about heartbreaks.

Although they have been considered as one of the well-established rock acts in the country, the band, according to their frontman Monty Macalino, still challenge themselves to offer something different whenever they put out a new record.

“Pang anim na namin na album yun, so parang kailangan every time we put out an album…we like to have a challenge or a different direction.”

Asked about how they managed to stay in the scene, Monty proudly expressed how grateful he is for his bandmates.

“I’ve been blessed with really good bandmates. Actually, ganyan yung pangalan ng album ‘For the Rest of My life’ because I just want to be with this band for the rest of my life…. as long as I can do it physically, emotionally and mentally.”

“For The Rest Of MY Life” (#FTROML) is out digitally on Spotify, iTunes and all other streaming sites under Warner. Physical CDs are also available on Satchmi, Megamall and selected Odyssey outlets.

This blog post has completely changed my perspective on music. It's a must-read for any music lover.
