Morissette Proves She’s PH’s Next Big Diva
Morissette recently promoted her self-titled debut album and proved that she is the country’s next big diva through powerful performances during her stint at the first-ever FM radio on wheels, Wish 1075 Bus, on April 22.
During her radio guesting, Morissette entertained the audience with her carrier single, “Di Mapaliwanag," her version of Starship’s “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now” and her outstanding cover of Sia’s chart-topping hit “Chandelier.”
The singer first rose to stardom after being a finalist at the Philippine franchise of the popular singing competition, The Voice.
“I’ve waited so long for this blessing to happen so I definitely gave my best in all of my performances in this album,” Morissette shared in one interview.
“If there’s anything that I can be proud of as a singer, it’s this album and how I shared my passion for music. And I hope people will feel that, once they hear my songs,” she added.
The album, released by Star Music, is composed of seven songs that showcase the versatility of Morissette as a performer.
“I don’t want to be identified as just a singer who can hit high notes. I’m more than determined to become a total performer not only for my audience but also for myself,” she remarked.
Morissette’s debut album is now available at all record bars throughout the country.
