Morissette’s ‘Secret Love Song’ Included in YouTube Rewind’s Top 10 Trending Music Videos in PH for 2016

Morissette’s WISHclusive performance of “Secret Love Song” once again proved its virality after it was included in YouTube Rewind‘s Top 10 Trending Music Videos in the Philippines for 2016.

The effortlessly-belted out rendition was the second most-watched video in the list, only coming behind Chainsmokers VEVO’s lyric video of “Closer.”

Morissette, who earned four nominations for the upcoming 2nd Wish 107.5 Music Awards, covered the international smash from Little Mix back in August. Since then, it has been viewed at least 15.6 million times.

This video, competing for the Best WISHclusive Performance by a Female Artist award, was also the fastest on the Wish 107.5 YouTube Channel to reach the one-million mark since its premiere — only a week!

The other videos that made it to this year’s roster of Trending Music Videos in the country includes Kristel Fulgar’s “Secret Love Song,” Viva Records’ MV of James Reid’s “Randomantic,” and ABS-CBN Star Music’s MV of Ylona Garcia and Bailey May’s “O Pag-ibig,” among others.

Annually, the popular video-sharing website releases the comprehensive list “celebrating the videos, people, music and moves” that became viral for a certain year. Apart from the videos that made the rounds in the global online community, YouTube also shortlists phenomenal uploads that became popular in a particular country.
