Roadshow Features New OPM darlings: Sabrina and Zendee
Asia’s Acoustic Sweetheart Sabrina and YouTube viral star Zendee boarded the Wish 107.5 Bus on December 8 to perform sweet, sweet music for their fans here and abroad.
Sabrina, who recently launched the eighth edition of her “I Love Acoustic” series, sang covers of “All About That Bass” and “Thinking Out Loud.” The album debuted at No. 1 both on iTunes Philippines and Indonesia.
“It makes me feel very happy to record a new album,” she shared.
Apart from this newest music offering, the acoustic sweetheart recently represented the country in the 2015 Asian Song Festival held in Busan, South Korea and at the Kuala Lumpur Lake Garden Festival.
During her guesting, she also revealed that she is working on an all-original album; something that will surely delight her fans who’d been following her nearly ten-decade career.
Sabrina thanked the station for letting her experience performing live from the innovative music hub for the second time. Her first Roadshow stint where she performed her cover of John Legend’s “All of Me,” earned her a Best Wishclusive Performance by a Female Artist nomination in the first Wish Music Awards.
Keeping the evening alive, singing online sensation Zendee gave an all-out performance of “Flashlight” and “Habang Kayakap Ka.” She also invited the listeners to check out her newest album, “Z.”
The 24-year-old singer rose to prominence after a video of her singing the Whitney Houston classic “I Will Always Love You” went viral on YouTube back in 2012. Since then, she has produced more videos with millions of views and got featured on various programs, the most popular of which is The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Zendee capped off the night saying, “Sobrang sarap magperform sa Wish 107.5 Bus!”
