Sarah G Delves Into Healing, Being Infatuated, and Letting Go in New Tracks
Throughout her successful music career, Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo-Guidicelli has been consistently delivering tracks that highlight her vocal prowess and versatility. Recently, the multitalented artist has launched flavorful tracks that talk about emotional healing, being infatuated, and letting go.
Geronimo’s “Healing” is a poignant tale of a heart scarred by betrayal. The song discusses personal growth, resilience, and the transformative power of love.
I’m not giving up on me
I just got too many scars but I’m healing
Too many bruises on my heart
But I know I’m healing
You know you’re lovin’ me so hard
You’ve got me healing
This feels like a brand-new start
You’ve got me healing
The heartrending track, which was released on May 8, 2023, was composed by singer-songwriter and Wish Bus favorite KZ Tandingan. The song was produced by Geronimo and Civ Fontanilla.
Just four days after she released “Healing,” Geronimo debuted “My Mind,” which was co-written by fellow artist Billy Crawford and OPM act Jin Chan.
In contrast to “Healing,” a ballad that tackled the struggles and hopes of a wounded heart, “My Mind” is an R&B dance-pop track that explores feelings of intense attraction and fascination.
I got my fantasies
Wanna make it reality
Boy, take it out of me
Wanna make you my masterpiece
Baby, take me away
Bring me to a different galaxy
I’ll give you all of my time
Take over my mind
Most recently, Geronimo and Jin Chan collaborated on “Hangganan,” a lo-fi R&B track that explores the bittersweet end of a relationship.
Tinangay na ng hangin
Ang aking mga panalangin na
Ika’y muling mapasaakin
Huli na ba’t ito na ba ang hangganan?
Sumasabay na lang sa alon
Tinatago na lang ang takot na
Puso mo’y ‘di na mababago
Huli na ba’t ito na ba ang hangganan?
“Hangganan” was released on June 7, 2023.
After celebrating her 20th anniversary in the entertainment industry at the Araneta Coliseum last May, the pop star is set to once again serenade Popsters at the Big Dome on July 7, 2023, with Filipino-American musician Bamboo.
