The New Sounds and Fresh Faces of OPM

Star Music has rounded up the local music scene’s most promising talents from different genres to produce the compilation album OPM Fresh. It showcases the creative works of next gen artists that make up the diverse sound of today’s OPM.

On June 7, Wish jock Jellykiss was joined by OPM Fresh artists Hazel Faith and Renee on the Wish 107.5 bus where they performed to a live audience at Ortigas Avenue in EDSA. The dazzling duo offered the growing crowd a satisfying glimpse of their fresh, new music.

Hazel Faith got her start at the renowned song-writing competition Himig Handog P-pop Love Song in 2014. Renee, on the other hand, emerged into the spotlight through her YouTube videos and as a Star Magic Talent.

Performing live from the one and only mobile FM radio station, Hazel Faith sang “Weak” and “Liwanag,” while Renee performed “Til There Was You” and “Boy.”

Judging by the awestruck passers-by and the enthusiastic response from listeners, these beautiful young talents are destined to go far in their individual careers.
