Top Contenders’ Favorite Artists Laud Wish 107.5 Ultimate Fandom Challenge

During a recently held press conference, the favorite artists of the top contenders of Wish 107.5’s Ultimate Fandom Challenge lauded the friendly competition and expressed gratitude to the station for staging such event.

Wish 107.5 met with bloggers and member of the media last May 18 at Vagabonds Restaurant, Quezon City to present the battles included in the contest’s final round. The event was also attended by The Juans whose fandom, “Juanista,” made it to the final four.

RnB star Daryl Ong and young crooner Francis Lim also graced the event. Darylnatics and Francisnatics, their respective fandoms, are two of the three Fandom Survivors who are vying to be the 4th, 5th and 6th runners-up.

Daryl, who admitted that he used to be idle in the social media arena said, that the competition made him realize the importance of reaching out to his fans through social networking platforms.

“Since the competition started, I realized that there is really a need to be active in social media,” he remarked, pertaining to the online voting and Twitter trending battled held during the elimination round.

Meanwhile, Francis expressed his excitement for the final round, “I am really happy and I am looking forward to performing in Araneta.”

“I also thank Francisnatics because they are relentless in giving all-out support,” he added.

Apart from thanking Wish, The Juans also shared their wish for their fans who have always been active in supporting them.

“We hope that through the things that we do as an artist, we can inspire you to also pursue your dreams. We are here to support you the same way that you support us,” they said.

The challenge’s final four is composed of Darrenatics, Juanistas, Dyfenders and Mowienatics. Juan Karlos United Families Club is also included in the Fandom Survivors.

The final round will run from May 21 to June 20. A total of Php 2.3 million is at stake for the top seven fandoms, their artists and chosen beneficiaries.
