Wish 107.5 Bus to Hit Provinces for Wishcovery Originals On-Ground Auditions

Due to insistent public demand, Wish 107.5 is extending the audition period for its own talent search, Wishcovery Originals. 

The competition, which marks the third installment of Wishcovery, is open to unsigned Filipino soloists, duos, vocal groups, and bands, 18 years old and above. 

Apart from sending entries online, aspiring singer-songwriter acts can also audition aboard the Wish 107.5 Bus. The fully-outfitted musical platform is set to hit the road for a series of on-ground audition legs starting July 2. 

The Wishcovery on-ground auditions will bring the bus to key cities in Visayas and Mindanao, including Cebu, Iloilo, Bacolod, Davao, Butuan, and Cagayan De Oro. The schedule, as of writing, is as follows:

Cebu City: July 2-4

Iloilo City: July 9-11

Bacolod City: July 15-17

Cagayan De Oro City: August 6-8

Butuan City: August 11-13

Davao City: August 21-22

On-ground auditionees are required to bring one valid I.D., their original song’s lyrics in Word format, and a minus one file of their composition in .mp3 format. Aspirants who want to perform their songs with their own musical instruments are also welcome to audition via Wish 107.5 Bus.

Through Wishcovery Originals, Wish 107.5 is aiming to discover promising musical gems who have the flair for both singing and composing original tracks. 

This time, we will be discovering not only singers but also composers who can actually sing. It will be better if they will be one to sing they songs because they know where they are really coming from,” Wishcovery creator and BMPI President and CEO Kuya Daniel Razon shared in an interview. 

Wishcovery was first launched in September 2017, with its first season putting the limelight on talented Filipino singers. On its sophomore edition, the online bout once again embarked on a mission to scout aspiring singers — only this time, veteran composers were also tapped to create original songs that the contenders have latter given life to. 

Both the past seasons of Wishcovery have produced sets of finalists who have certified Gold and Platinum albums under their belt.
