Wish 107.5 Named ‘FM Radio Station of the Year’ at LPU’s UmalohokJUAN Media Awards 2018

Wish 107.5 was named “FM Radio Station of the Year” at this year’s UmalohokJUAN Media Awards held on May 16, 2018 at the Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) Manila.

It also received a special citation for “being the first and multimedia broadcasting station that was able to reach out to audiences through mainstream and online media, with a range of 2.6 million subscribers on YouTube.”

Organized by LPU, the award-giving body is now on its fifth year of recognizing “works, advocacies, social responsibility and public service by media, corporate, government and non-government organizations...and personalities.”

The winners of UmalohokJUAN are chosen by the LPU community.

“Thank you very much to the LPU administration and to the people behind UmalohokJUAN 2018. Recognitions like these inspire us to offer more worthwhile advocacies to our Wishers,” Mr. Bong Etorma III, BMPI’s Vice President for Radio, said in an interview.

BMPI, which stands for Breakthrough and Milestones Productions International, is the content provider for Wish 107.5.

“The LPU community and all our Wishers can expect that Wish 107.5 will continue delivering a unique musical experience. We will keep on supporting our music industry and our Filipino musicians,” he added.

In 2016, LPU recognized BMPI CEO and President Kuya Daniel Razon for his notable works in the fields of media and public service.

Earlier in February this year, the radio station was hailed as the Most Outstanding Broadcasting and Media Production Company in the Philippines at the National Customers’ Choice Awards.
