Wish 107.5 To Celebrate Second Birthday This August 31

It’s going be a wishful celebration on August 31 as Wish 107.5 ends the month-long commemoration of its second anniversary in the FM radio broadcasting industry.

The occasion will feature the granting of wishes of lucky listeners and a grand all-day on-air concert. Expected acts to join the event include Jed Madela, Kris Lawrence, Marc Tupaz of Shamrock, Jovit Baldivino, Zion Aquino, Michael Pangilinan, Leah Patricio, Tim Pavino, Francis Lim, SUD, QYork, Quest, Johnoy Danao, Robin Nievera, JBK, Paolo Onesa, Patricia Javier, Njel De Mesa and Deejay Poblete.

As part of the month-long anniversary of the upscale FM station, guest celebrity Wish jocks were invited to grace The Roadshow program daily. Some of those who tried their hand at jockeying were Jay R, TJ Monterde, Marion Aunor, Aliya Parcs, Morisette and Jason Dy.

OPM stars — legends and emerging — also hopped on the Wish 107.5 Bus to spread good music over the airwaves while on the road. The acts who shared their artistry were headlined by Ogie Alcasid, Noel Cabangon, Sponge Cola, Itchyworms and KZ Tandingan.

This August, the station also introduced its “Fan Ride” promo where avid fans of an act were selected to jam and chat with their idols.

Wish 107.5 was launched into the FM radio arena on August 10, 2014 through a stellar music show at the World Trade Center, Pasay City. On the same event, it unveiled the Wish 107.5 Bus, the country’s first FM-on-wheels, and fulfilled the dreams of its first batch of “Wishers.”

Since its inception, it has continually launched projects aimed at promoting public service while highlighting great music at the same time. Some of the biggest innovations it initiated include the Wish Music Awards and Wish Ultimate Fandom Challenge.
