Wish 107.5 YouTube Channel, First Local FM Radio Station to Hit 1M Subscribers

It’s now official!

As of March 11, Wish 107.5’s YouTube Channel has already garnered one million subscribers, making it the first FM radio station in the Philippines to have achieved the prestigious feat. According to socialblade.com, it is also the eighth local channel to gather such massive following on the popular streaming site.

The channel was first launched in July 2014, a month shy of Wish’s official launch as one of the youngest FM stations in the country. Over two years later, the portal now takes pride in more than 500 videos that celebrate the greatness of the universally-loved art form that is music.

The Wish 107.5 YT page gathers an additional 5,000 to 7,000 subscribers on a daily basis. Last year, YouTube PH revealed that it became the country’s fastest-growing channel, obtaining a 236% increase in 2016 alone.

With subscribers from the Philippines to as far as the United States, Canada, New Zealand and Brazil, the site has been touted as music acts’ WISHclusive gateway to the world. This momentous transformation — Wish, being a local FM station that grew to become a global ambassador of top-notch artistry  — was the theme of the recently held sophomore edition of the Wish 107.5 Music Awards.

As it continues to traverse a path not previously trodden by any other institutions, Wish promises to bring more innovations that will all the more amplify Filipinos’ musical talent to the international stage.

But before anything else, the station that introduced groundbreaking concepts such as the Wish 107.5 Bus, the phenomenal WISHclusives and the heart-tugging wish-granting advocacy expresses sincere gratitude to all those who contributed to its continued success.

Its YouTube Channel only started with one video, with one view and with one subscriber. It was born out of a fervent wish to touch lives through music. As it dreamed to bring music to more people, the world paved its way to join the station’s wishful musical journey.
