Wish 107.5 Goes to Bulacan in First Outside-the-Metro Tour

For Wish1075’s first wave of provincial mall shows this 2015, the all-hits station brought notable OPM talents such as Mcoy Fundales and Jek Manuel at the SM City Baliwag to deliver a spectacular night of music to Bulakenyos.

On February 6, wishers and music lovers alike gathered at the mall’s atrium to enjoy and listen to some of contemporary OPM’s biggest hits. The mall show also featured covers of songs from a wide range of music genres.

Mcoy Fundales, the vocalist of Kenyo and former frontman of Orange and Lemons, wowed the crowd with his performance of the 2005 anthem, “Pinoy Ako,” “Abot Kamay,” and “Hanggang Muli."

Meawhile, Jek Manuel of the iAxe Band, serenaded the audience with his version of Maroon 5’s “She Will Be Loved." iAxe Band is most known for popularizing the hit, “Ako’y Sa’yo at Ika’y Akin Lamang."

In 2014, Mcoy and Jek were invited to a songwriting competition as interpreters of original praise song compositions penned by the finalists. Mcoy performed a Cesar Montano-penned song titled, “Pagpupuring Walang Hanggan,” while Jek sang “God Will Win Our Fight,” which he originally recorded with former Rivermaya frontman, Jayson Fernandez.

The Voysing and Shanne Velasco, a regular of Wish1075’s previous mall shows, also joined the SM City Baliwag Tour.

The Voysing gave lively sessions of The Beatles and The Bee Gees classics while Shanne performed some international pop songs that currently dominate the airwaves.

Apart from the musical delight offered, the eager crowd also got a chance to win Wish1075 freebies.

Since its launch in August last year, Wish1075 has brought music closer to its listeners thru its regular mall shows in and out of Metro Manila and through its roving booth. The Wish1075 Bus is the first-ever FM mobile radio station on wheels, on the air and on the road.

Next stop…SM City Calamba, on February 27, with Ebe Dancel leading another stellar set of performers, live on Wish 107.5!

This blog post has completely changed my perspective on music. It's a must-read for any music lover.
