All-hits FM Station Wish 107.5 Launched via Stellar Concert

A new FM radio station is creating groovy sound in the airwaves as WISH FM 107.5 officially signed on mid of this year.

Wish FM 107.5 kicked off with a concert titled “Wish Concert” last August 10, 2014 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.

Hours before the concert, people had already lined up outside the venue, waiting to see their favorite artists in the music industry - for free. When the gates opened, they were welcomed by a huge orange board where everyone was invited to write their wishes.

The World Trade Center was jam-packed as the Wish Concert formally started the fun-filled event.

Top and up-and-coming bands like Rivermaya, Sponge Cola, 6Cyclemind, Callalily, Gracenote, Banda ni Kleggy, Imago, Moonstar88, and Kenyo performed their hit songs.

Popular hits from the 70s to 90s were covered by the likes of Nyoy Volante, Noel Cabangon, Hamilann, Frank Packing, Aia de Leon, Richard Poon, Ronnie Liang, Jason Fernandez, Gerald Santos, and Jonalyn Viray.

The station also granted the wishes posted online by its followers during the concert.

The official sign on was preceded by a 3D mapping presentation of the Wish FM bus, the state-of-the-art FM booth that now roams the major thoroughfares  of Metro Manila, featuring daily live mini-concerts of various promising singers.
