Wish Granted for Surigao City as Wish 107.5 Bus Hits First Stop in Mindanao
Local residents of Surigao City showed great enthusiasm as Wish 107.5 granted their wish to witness a free mini-concert aboard the Wish Bus featuring their own singing prides on Tuesday night.
Dubbed as “The City of Island Adventures,” Surigao City was the first stop of the FM radio mobile as it finally rolled its wheels on the roads of Mindanao.
First to perform at the Boulevard, Surigao City was Rocsin Ganuhay who sang his original composition “Lawod sa Kalipay,” which talks about the exuberant people that are the Surigaonons.
Meanwhile, the Vallente family proved that passion for music runs in their blood as siblings Crismille, Chris, and Herlo sang their rendition of the ‘70s tune “Kiss Me, Kiss Me,” which was recently revived by Sarah Geronimo, “Babe” by Styx, and “In Your Eyes” by George Benson, respectively.
The night got more exciting as the Wish Bus drove to Gaisano Capital Surigao where the JVC Tribe band performed their original song “Bigyang Pansin,” which talks about giving hope to street children.
In a homecoming of sorts, Wishcovery Season 2 Finalist Anna Marie Guinsisana returned aboard the Wish Bus as she capped of the show by singing the Vehnee Saturno-penned piece “Ang Sakit-Sakit Naman” before a huge crowd.
Meanwhile, Surigao Wishers took to social media their excitement as they indulged in a one-of-a-kind musical experience courtesy of the Wish 107.5 Bus.
The bus, which is currently embarking on its first-ever provincial tour, has had previous stops in Naga and Leyte.
