Wishcovery's Wishful 5 Stage Hometown Shows Ahead of Grand Finals Night

Weeks before the much-awaited grand finals, Wishcovery’s Wishful 5 paid a visit to their respective hometowns and staged a mini-concert for their fans.

On February 5, Cavite’s Hacel Bartolome lent her emotion-filled singing prowess to perform for her “Certified Acers” at the Bacoor Strike Gymnasium.

According to her, the overwhelming support she received during the said show further motivated her to win the competition.

Hacel Bartolome renders her ballad revival of Parokya Ni Edgar’s “Harana,” enticing the crowd to raise their hands and light up the concert venue through their mobile devices.

“At first, I was already fine with being a grand finalist. When I saw my fellow Caviteños and heard their wish for me to become the grand champion, I said to myself that I had to fight and give my all,” she shared in an interview.

Three days after, it was Carmela Ariola’s turn to call for support from her own league of fans in Batangas. She brought her sweet-sounding and clean vocal works to the Plaza Independencia in Lipa City and gave delight to her “Carmi’s Army.”

“It was really fulfilling to perform in front of Batangueños. I was happy because I’ve always wanted to give back my gratitude to them for all the support they’ve given me until now,” she told Wish.

Meanwhile, Louie Anne Culala thanked the station for giving her and her co-finalists the chance to have their own concert.

“I am really glad to have a mini-concert at my own town. The feeling is truly unexplainable. It was very memorable for me,” the rising star said as she showcased her versatility before her “LouWISH Angels.”

Louie Anne Culala belts out to Sarah Geronimo’s “Ikot-Ikot,” the same piece that earned her a slot in the grand finals of Wishcovery.

Her hometown show was held at the San Ildefonso Gym on February 12.

Kimberly Baluzo shared the same sentiment when she provided musical entertainment for her “Kimsters” last February 15 at the Agro Sports Center in Daet, Camarines Norte.

“When I came out on stage, I was thrilled because I cannot believe that I was there, performing at my own concert,” she expressed, adding that she is “happy to see [her]supporters be delighted with [her] performances.”

Drawing scores of “Princess Warriors,” Princess Sevillena conquered the Centris Open Grounds in Quezon City as she held her own mini-concert on February 26.

“I felt the love of the people who have continuously supported me, even though I failed at first,” she enthused.

The singer earned the grand finals spot when she won the wild card round participated in by previously eliminated Wishfuls.

Apart from the hometown show, the Wishful 5 have also paid forward the success they have achieved by rendering different public services in their own cities.

Coinciding with the said events, the grand finalists further made rounds on Facebook via the Wishcovery Live Chat. The activity provided a platform wherein their supporters had the chance to throw questions, ask for song wishes, and request for shout-outs from their favorite grand finalists.

Wishcovery’s grand finalist night is happening on March 27, Tuesday, at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
