Wishful 5 Gears Up For Wishcovery Grand Finals

Carmela Ariola, Kimberly Baluzo, Hacel Bartolome, Louie Anne Culala and Princess Sevillena -- the grand finalists of Wish 107.5’s online singing competition Wishcovery -- are all gearing up for their ultimate vocal battle on March 27, Tuesday, at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

Known as the Wishful 5, the rising music talents have taken different trainings that will equip them with the know-how’s they need to fully maximize their vocal prowess and help them bring out their star-like charisma.

In a one-on-one mentoring with the show’s resident reactors Jay R, Annie Quintos and Jungee Marcelo, the Wishfuls had the chance to consult the pieces they will be performing at the grand finals night. During the process, the three esteemed figures in the local music scene have also shared important music and performance tips that will prepare the top Wishcovery contenders in their journey of becoming the country’s next singing sensation.

The finalists have also underwent a rigid vocal clinic at The Madz Music Studio in Eastwood, Quezon City to further improve the singing abilities they are gifted with.They further took personality development workshops at Talk Shop where they were taught of essential goal setting and self-improvement lessons.

With the kind indulgence of its partnering companies, Wish 107.5 also made sure that the Wishfuls are physically prepped before they take on their final battle at the Big Dome.

Jesi Mendez Salon gave them a total makeover; Forever Beautiful and It Figures offered quality skin care services; Sunglao Dental Clinic provided them with gentle dental care while Body Essence, and Nails and Glamour Salon granted them with a relaxation package. A generous shoe shopping galore was also sponsored by Nifty Shoes.

One of the highlights of their eventful preparations for the finals was their intimate jamming-slash-mentoring session with Kuya Daniel Razon, CEO and President of Breakthrough and Milestones Productions International (BMPI). The veteran broadcaster is the man behind the innovations of Wish 107.5 -- including the Wish Bus, and Wishcovery, the singing competition being aired on the station’s YouTube channel.

Securing a bright future beyond the grand finals, the Wishful 5 have also inked a management contract with BMPI and a recording deal with Star Music.

Wishcovery’s grand finals night is slated on March 27, 2018 at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
