X-Factor Australia’s Mary Ann Van Der Horst Back with New Single 'Deep Down'

Certified Filipino pride Mary Ann Van Der Horst shared her powerful voice with Wishers as she conquered the Wish 107.5 Bus with her newest single, “Deep Down.”

This exciting pop-dance track tells a story about a woman who keeps her feelings to herself, shared the Melbourne-based singer.

“Deep Down” is produced by Sydney’s award-winning record producer Sven Tydeman of Kitty Groove Studios. She previously performed her first single, “Paradise,” on Wish 107.5 TV’s “Wish Lounge” segment.

The Filipina belter first caught global attention when she auditioned for X-Factor Australia back in 2014. Her performance of Beyonce’s “Halo” earned her a standing ovation from the surprised judges.

“Music is my passion and until now I am enjoying my career and what I have achieved so far,” Mary Ann, who has been singing since the age of 10, shared in one interview.

Apart from Beyonce, her musical influences include Tina Arena and Whitney Houston.

Mary Ann said she is excited to share more of her music with her fans, whom she considers as one of her ultimate inspirations. She revealed that another track is underway.

On her return to Wish 107.5, she also performed an outstanding cover of Sam Smith’s “I’m Not the Only One.”

Mary Ann thanked the station and its staff, saying that it is always an “awesome time” whenever she boards the Wish 107.5 Bus.
